Darryl Keighley (founder) has had a passion for fishing and the outdoors since he was a kid and has grown up on farms in Northwest NSW.

Darryl started Low Tide Lures on a small bench in his shed in 2016 on Christmas holidays from his day job. He is the sort of guy who can’t relax, he always needs to be doing something productive.

With his Paddle Tail Slim Min mould, two original colour concoctions with the help of his kids and wife Amanda (Passionfruit Pulp & Laura’s Ladies), a rod and a dam to test the new lures on – Low Tide Lures was up and running.

Over the years our range in profiles and colours have increased but one thing stays the same; each LTL Soft Plastic Lure is hand mixed, poured and packed by Darryl in his shed, with a bigger bench now though.

The biggest buzz we get is when our loyal customers send us photos of what they have caught. We have seen our lures snapped up by so many varied species from Barramundi to Yellow belly.
